Polymarket copy trading
Polymarket copy trading means watching another wallet's trades and placing the same trades from your own account, usually with a bot. It is possible because every Polymarket trade settles on-chain and Polymarket's Data API exposes any wallet's open positions and activity (Polymarket: Wallet activity ↗).
The short answer: only a few public tools do this, and the space has a malware problem. Our directory lists three related projects: a Rust toolkit whose README calls its copy trading production-ready, an MCP server that runs copy-trading loops in a simulated preview mode by default, and a Telegram bot that only alerts on large trades.
Before you run any copy-trading script, read the safety section below. Copying a wallet also copies trades made at earlier prices, and fees apply to every taker fill.

Safety first
Reddit users have reported Polymarket copy-trading repositories on GitHub that contain code to leak private keys (for example r/vibecoding: security note on copy-trading scripts ↗). Basic rules: read every dependency, never paste a main-wallet key into a script, start in a paper or preview mode, and use a separate wallet with a small balance.
How copy-trading bots work
- Pick wallets to follow and poll their activity from the Data API, or stream public trades.
- Decide what to copy: size limits, which markets, maximum price drift since the original trade.
- Place matching orders through the CLOB with your own signed credentials (Polymarket: API overview ↗).

FAQ
Is there a Polymarket copy trading bot on GitHub?
Yes, a few. This page lists three public projects; see the table. Many other copy-trading repos exist, and some have been reported as malware, so review code before running it.
How do copy-trading bots find a wallet's trades?
Polymarket's Data API returns a wallet's open positions and activity, and trades are recorded on-chain on Polygon, so any wallet address can be followed.
Is Polymarket copy trading safe?
The main risk is the software. Reddit users report scripts that steal private keys. Market risk also remains: you copy trades late, at different prices.
Does copy trading on Polymarket make money?
We don't know. Past results of a wallet don't predict future ones, and no listing here is verified as profitable.
Not financial advice. Listing is not an endorsement, and we have not checked any profit claims. Read the code before you give any tool an API key or wallet key.
