Kalshi and Polymarket Python SDKs
Kalshi and Polymarket Python SDKs are libraries that wrap each exchange's API so you can fetch markets and place orders from Python. Both exchanges publish official ones: kalshi_python_sync / kalshi_python_async for Kalshi and polymarket-client for Polymarket.
The short answer: use the official SDKs for new code. Kalshi warns its SDKs "may lag the API" and suggests generating your own client from its OpenAPI spec for production; PyKalshi is a popular unofficial typed alternative. On Polymarket, py-clob-client is the legacy client: still on PyPI, but archived on GitHub, with a migration guide to the unified SDK. pmxt covers several venues in one package.

kalshi_python_sync (and kalshi_python_async for asyncio). Kalshi says the old kalshi-python package is deprecated.
What is the Polymarket Python SDK?
polymarket-client, from GitHub Polymarket/py-sdk. It has public and secure clients in sync and async forms.
Is py-clob-client deprecated?
Its GitHub repository is archived, and Polymarket's docs point to the unified SDK with a migration guide. Many existing bots still use it.
